This minimalist ring features a beautiful keishi pearl. It is a freshwater pearl in the shape of an uneven coin. Whilst the perfectly shaped pearl will always command a high price, imperfectly shaped pearls are getting a lot of attention from the public. We know that something that is imperfect can be beautiful, and it always has character that sets it apart from the rest. That is why keishi pearls, like baroque pearls, fascinate me.

Next to the keishi pearl is a tiny transparent wine red crystal. It is a Rhodolite Garnet. It gives the pearly white keishi a little bit of color contrast.

The metal used for this ring is sterling silver. The ring band is made using a 14 gauge wire. As always, I like to keep the design simple so that the full beauty of these natural products shines through.
