This minimalist-styled pendant features a natural mineral called Cavansite.

Cavansite is a calcium vanadium silicate. It comes from the Deccan Traps of Maharashtra, India.

This crystal is naturally shaped like a starburst sphere. It looks like a blue sea urchin without its long spikes. Its color is deep sea blue. When seen under the sunlight, it appears to have a lustrous velvet sheen.

This crystal is a full nodule. Its spikes are pretty short and it is perfect to be worn as jewelry.

The Cavansite is encased in an oxidized sterling silver frame. I’ve blackened the sterling silver so that there is no need to polish this jewelry, as polishing can break the spikes of the mineral.
