This item here is both a brooch and a pendant. This is a versatile way to give the wearer more options in using it as an accessory.

Bleu is made of polymer clay. It is a contemporary piece, focusing on geometry and the art of placing different geometric shapes together so they look harmoniously as one. In addition to this, there is a little bit of optical illusion being offered by this piece.

The two round discs look like they uneven surfaces. This 3D effect is just an optical illusion. Both discs are flat throughout the surface. This really makes the brooch/pendant cool.

I like adding a little color as well. I opted to use different hues of blue as the background. In doing so, the black and white pieces seem to stand out even more.

I have also textured the back of this brooch/pendant. It will add comfort when wearing it, especially against bare skin as a pendant.

For the metals used, please note that the loop through which the chain or choker passes is made of sterling silver. The brooch pin is made of memory wire. Memory wire is a lot tougher than sterling silver. The pin is therefore sturdy, making it easy to pierce through fabric.
