The necklace in this listing is chunky, with 4 strands of glass and wood beads. The color scheme of the glass beads are basically purple, pink and green but there is a nice play of hues between these colors. They remind me of lily blossoms in a pond. There are 6 wood beads in a hexagon cut which have been colored in gold acrylic paint and coated with a non-toxic gloss glaze. I like to add a little bit of gold to break up the color scheme and to offer a nice accent to the piece.

There is also a nice play of textures between the glass beads. The Java beads are frosted, with a slightly rough hexagon surface. The Chinese beads have a smooth finish and their shape is generally of a rounded barrel, with a few odd ones that are round. I’m embracing imperfection! They have a stained crackled glass look.

I’ve knotted the beads together using Chinese satin cord in pastel green color.

The end fasteners are chunky and they are handmade by me. They are essentially a toggle and a loop but I’ve created a koi fish to be the toggle. I used sterling silver wires of different sizes to create these end fasteners.

International shipping is by way of Registered Air Mail. You will be informed of the tracking number when it becomes available to me.

For international shipping, if you would like me to send the package to you by courier instead of Registered Air Mail, please inform me immediately after you have completed the transaction. It will cost more. I will find out the exact price and inform you. If you are agreeable, I will send an additional bill for the balance shipping cost to your given email address using PayPal. Once you have settled the additional bill, I will ship the product within the stated time frame.

Kindly note that I have no control over the delivery time. Sometimes the delay can be due to the package being withheld by customs officers in your country. In such an event, it will be your responsibility to sort it out to get the package released.
