This Ooh-La-La pendant features a relatively new type of turquoise called the Lavender Turquoise. All three stones used here are Lavender Turquoise stones. As the name suggests, this type of Turquoise has a soft lavender blue colour as compared with the greenish blue colour that we normally associate turquoise with. The stones come from the Altyn Tyube mine in Kazakhstan and are also known as Kazakhstan Turquoise.

The stones sit in their respective sterling silver frames, surrounded by intertwining ‘tree branches’ with berries. The design was inspired by pictures of ripe red berries on branches seen by the maker. The whole frame was painstakingly hand-fabricated from a scratch.
