This listing offers a pair of curved square bangles handcrafted from a scratch. The material for these bangles is polymer clay. They are handcrafted from a scratch, right down to the drawing of the koi fishes.

The bangles are more of a mixed media art expression using not only polymer clay but other art materials like acrylic paints, soft pastels and 24K gold leaves. The top layer of the bangles is black and it covers the colored layer. The top layer is carefully carved, bit by bit to slowly expose the colored layer, which tells a story.

Inspired by the tranquil beauty of Japanese koi ponds, these bangles feature vibrant koi fishes swimming amidst swaying aquatic plants. Made in vivid hues of red, orange and yellow, with splotches of gold, black and white, the koi swim among lush green aquatic plants, bringing the illusion of movement and depth to the bold, angular frames. The bold contrast of the bright colors against the dark rippling water creates a dynamic visual harmony, making these bangles a wearable expression of peace, persistence and elegance.
